It is with great pleasure that Ryan Affaires publiques announces the return of Ms. Anna Luiza Fernandes to the firm as Senior Consultant. Prior to joining the team, she practiced commercial litigation at a major national law firm for over two years. Her ability to find creative solutions allows her to advise her clients in their various needs and find positive outcomes to complex situations. Anna obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2019.
Ryan AP would also like to highlight the nomination of Audrey-Frédérique Lavoie, Noémie Berubé and Amelia Benattia as research consultants. These three colleagues have been part of the team for several months and their work is already appreciated by both their colleagues and our clients. PATRICE RYAN [president] •1. Former Canadian diplomat. Prior to founding Ryan Affaires publiques, Patrice worked at a senior level in public relations for large corporations. •2. He holds a BA in economics from McGill University and a Masters in Public Policy and Administration (MPA) from Columbia University.
MICHELLE COURCHESNE [strategic advisor] •1. Michelle is a well-known public figure. She held several strategic positions, such as Deputy Premier, Minister of Education and President of the Treasury Board. 2. Deputy Minister of Culture from 1988 to 1995, she was also a senior official with private companies and director general of the OSM.
VALÉRIE POMERLEAU [vice president and associate] •1. Former political advisor to the Minister of Energy, Natural resources and Minister responsible for the Northern Plan’s parliamentary assistant, Valérie has expertise in managing issues and in communications. •2. A graduate in Accounting from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, she recently completed Project Management training at the Université Laval.

During his corporate career as a high-level senior manager, he gained experience leading large communications and public relations teams within major companies. He also held the positions of Vice President with two global public affairs agencies, providing consulting services to companies in a wide range of industries. •2. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree.
ZOÉ LAJOIE, M.Sc [director] •1. Zoé possesses a rigourous sense of analysis and an advanced synthesis capability, and has extensive experience in policy analysis. •2. She holds a B.A. Honours in Political Science from McGill University and a M.Sc in Public and International Affairs from the Université de Montréal.
MARC DUCHESNE, M.A. [director] •1. Seasoned communicator with expertise in crisis management and media relations, Marc was a spokesman for multinational companies in the aerospace sector for more than fifteen years. •2. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal, integrated communication mandates hold no secrets for him.

She also worked for ministers of Revenue and Finance in Ottawa. •2. Chloé holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal.

Christine has extensive experience in public policy, issues management, and communications across the country and abroad. •2. She holds a bilingual Masters in Public and International Affairs from Glendon College, York University, with an exchange at Sciences Po Paris.

Former press attaché during the 2018 provincial election campaign, Rosalie has a keen understanding of public relations and the behind-the-scenes of the present government. •2. She holds a paralegal degree and combines studies in communications and public relations and is currently pursuing her studies in Economics at the University of Montréal.
CAMILLE MICHAUD [consultant] •1. Having worked for multiple elected members of the City of Laval, Camille has experience in the municipal sector. 2. Holder of a B.A. in Political and Economic Sciences from the Université de Montréal, she is pursuing her studies at the Master’s level in Public and International Affairs.
NOÉMIE BÉRUBÉ [research consultant] •1 After living and working in Northern Canada and Northern Quebec for a few years, she has a good knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal issues and realities. Then, living and working in the Vallée-de-l’Or, Noémie is familiar with the mining sector. 2. She has a technique in radio animation, a certificate in public communication and is completing her bachelor’s degree in public communication.
AMELIA BENATTIA [research consultant] •1. Amelia brings years of experience in the fields of communications and marketing acquired in well-established Canadian businesses. 2. After studying Political Science at McGill University, she is currently pursuing studies at HEC in Finance.
AUDREY-FRÉDÉRIQUE LAVOIE [research consultant] •1. Audrey was an intern in business development and Quebec initiatives at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and has also worked for provincial and federal MNAs in leadership race and elections.•2. She will soon hold an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Commerce from McGill University as well as a certificate in Urban Planning from Sciences Po Paris.
LORRAINE BERKHOFF [coordinator] •1. Lorraine coordinates the operations of the team. She has extensive experience in administration, marketing and business development within world class companies. •2. She holds diplomas in International Relations and Communication.
