Montreal, February 19, 2020. It is with great pleasure that Patrice Ryan, President of Ryan Affaires publiques, announces the following appointments to the team, effective February 17th, 2020.
Ms. Chloé Luciani-Girouard, a regular contributor to the program « Les Mordus de politique » on RDI, is appointed to Senior Consultant at the firm. After a few years in Quebec politics and at Québec en Forme, Chloé worked as a political advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office, in addition to the Offices of the Ministers of Revenue and Finance. In 2019, she worked on the federal election campaign at the party’s headquarters in Ottawa, where her tasks included media relations and issues management. She therefore joins Ryan Affaires publiques with recognised expertise and experience in media relations, issues management, and government relations.
Ms. Audrey-Frédérique Lavoie, a political science student at McGill University, is appointed to Research Consultant Intern. Very much involved in her community, Audrey-Frédérique has received a number of prizes and awards throughout her academic journey. During her government relations internship at our firm, she will work both with team members and clients.

PATRICE RYAN [president] •1. Former Canadian diplomat. Prior to founding Ryan Affaires publiques, Patrice worked at a senior level in public relations for large corporations. •2. He holds a BA in economics from McGill University and a Masters in Public Policy and Administration (MPA) from Columbia University.
MICHELLE COURCHESNE [strategic advisor] •1. Michelle is a well-known public figure. She held several strategic positions, such as Deputy Premier, Minister of Education and President of the Treasury Board. 2. Deputy Minister of Culture from 1988 to 1995, she was also a senior official with private companies and director general of the OSM.
FRÉDÉRIC TREMBLAY [vice president] •1. Frédéric Tremblay has several years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs and crisis management. During his corporate career as a high-level senior manager, he gained experience leading large communications and public relations teams within major companies. He also held the positions of Vice President with two global public affairs agencies, providing consulting services to companies in a wide range of industries. •2. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree.
ZOÉ LAJOIE, M.Sc [director] •1. Zoé possesses a rigourous sense of analysis and an advanced synthesis capability, and has extensive experience in policy analysis. •2. She holds a B.A. Honours in Political Science from McGill University and a M.Sc in Public and International Affairs from the Université de Montréal.
VALÉRIE POMERLEAU [director] •1. Former political advisor to the Minister of Energy, Natural resources and Minister responsible for the Northern Plan’s parliamentary assistant, Valérie has expertise in managing issues and in communications. •2. A graduate in Accounting from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, she recently completed Project Management training at the Université Laval.
MARC DUCHESNE, M.A. [director] •1. Seasoned communicator with expertise in crisis management and media relations, Marc was a spokesman for multinational companies in the aerospace sector for more than fifteen years. •2. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal, integrated communication mandates hold no secrets for him.
GLENN CASTANHEIRA [director] •1. With over a decade working within the political and business realm, Glenn is a renowned expert in urban affairs and in the sectors of real estate, tourism, retail as well as in the cultural and creative industries. •2. He has a background in Urban Retail at Harvard University and in Urban Affaires at ETH Zurich.
MARIE-ANNE BÉLANGER [senior consultant] •1. Marie-Anne has extensive experience in a highly advanced R&D environment and in-depth expertise in energy and natural resources. •2. She has a Law and Communication background from the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Université Laval.

CHRISTINE MAYDOSSIAN [consultant] •1.Former Policy Advisor to the late Mayor Rob Ford of Toronto and to Chief Government Whip John Duncan at the Parliament of Canada. Christine has extensive experience in public policy, issues management, and communications across the country and abroad. •2. She holds a bilingual Masters in Public and International Affairs from Glendon College, York University, with an exchange at Sciences Po Paris.
ROSALIE TREMBLAY-CLOUTIER [consultant] •1. Former paralegal in the private and public sector, Rosalie was also press attaché in the 2018 electoral campaign. •2. She holds a paralegal degree and combines studies in communications and public relations and is currently pursuing her studies in Economics at the University of Montréal.
CAMILLE MICHAUD [research consultant] •1. Having worked for multiple elected members of the City of Laval, Camille has experience in the municipal sector. 2. Holder of a B.A. in Political and Economic Sciences from the Université de Montréal, she is pursuing her studies at the Master’s level in Public and International Affairs.
JEANNE DIAZ [research consultant] •1. Jeanne has built her professional experience in French political institutions, as much on the ministerial level as on the municipal and parliamentary levels. 2. She holds a Bachelor in Economic, Social and Political Sciences from the Institut Catholique de Paris, and a Master in Public Affairs from the Université Paris-Dauphine.
LORRAINE BERKHOFF [coordinator] •1. Lorraine coordinates the operations of the team. She has extensive experience in administration, marketing and business development within world class companies. •2. She holds diplomas in International Relations and Communication.
